| Proudest tri moment |
Tough to say. Finishing IMOO last year was HUGE for me, but I think it's the "little" things that I'm more proud of. Training my ass off on the bike last year and passing people (including lots of guys) on the bike at Steelhead. Galena last year, where I had a horrible race - breathing problems on the swim, a POS bike that wouldn't shift - to the point that I was practically in tears when I got to the run because I had been training a lot and was tired of always being the sucky one at races. So I wasn't going to wear my green lily pad "camo" swim cap that I had planned to wear on the run just for fun because I wasn't in the mood… but then I decided what the hell, why not - and I realized (because so many people got a kick out of it, all of us BOPers), that even if you have a crappy race, if you've had fun and made your fellow racers laugh, then that's good enough. |
| Pet peeve |
Stupid people. There are so many, sigh. Bad drivers are way up on the list. People who give up their 10 year old dogs for stupid reasons are way up there too. Oh, I shouldn't get started… |
| Favorite prerace foods |
- My typical pre-race breakfast is a cheese stick, a Pepsi, instant oatmeal, and a SlimJim. I have this down to a science.

| What I'd do if I won the lottery |
Buy a huge place near country roads where I could bike to my heart's content, where there's lots of land to garden, where I could have a Doberman plantation of sorts. |
| Bonus Info |
I'm cheeky and irreverent and can handle writing tasks for the team :) I'll also make sure we're prominently featured on my blog, which to date has tens of loyal readers/fans. I'm also good friends with Deanna (instigator), and I know she would be totally crushed, incapacitated really, if I were not to make the team. Oh, and I make a mean brownie, so these would naturally be a part of any team events. |
